On Monday, 26 January 2026, the EuroCham Real Estate & Construction (REC) Committee convened for its first meeting of the year, marking a strong start to 2026 with productive discussions and forward-looking plans.

 

Activities Report: 
 

Over the past six months, the REC Committee successfully organized four events, receiving strong participation and positive feedback from attendees. Key topics covered included affordable housing, branded residences, seismic risk, and networking opportunities. Beyond events, the Committee has continued to meet regularly to address pressing industry issues and provide updates on ongoing initiatives.

 

Upcoming Activities & White Book 2026:

 

Looking ahead, members shared ideas and insights on several potential events planned for the coming months, aimed at fostering dialogue between the private sector, experts, and relevant stakeholders. The Committee also informed members about the upcoming White Book 2026 Recommendations – REC Chapter, highlighting opportunities for members to contribute their expertise and ensure the White Book is aligned with the industry concerns. 

 

REC Social Media Launch:

 

To strengthen communication and outreach, the REC Committee will soon launch dedicated Facebook and LinkedIn pages. These platforms will serve to:

  • Provide timely and consistent updates on committee meetings, events, and initiatives
  • Showcase members’ projects, activities, and achievements where relevant
  • Increase overall visibility and engagement for both the REC Committee and its members


Membership Updates:


As of January 2026, the REC Committee consists of 11 renewing members and 3 new members, reflecting continued interest and growth within the sector.
