On Friday, 13 February 2026, the EuroCham AgriBiz Committee Leadership convened to reflect on the Committee’s previous work and strategically align on the 2026 roadmap.
Moving forward, the Committee will focus on organise a series of closed-door roundtable discussions with members, relevant stakeholders, regulators, and industry representatives. These sessions aim to foster candid exchanges and develop actionable recommendations that contribute to policy improvements and sector growth.
Key priorities topic for 2026 include:
- Advancing ESG & Sustainability standards in the Agri-sector, promoting responsible and climate-resilient practices
- Providing greater clarity on tax incentives for AgriBiz SMEs, to enhance investment confidence and business formalisation
- Identifying practical investment solutions to unlock financing opportunities and de-risk agricultural ventures
In addition to advocacy efforts, the Committee remains committed to strengthening industry collaboration. On Friday 20th March 2025, we will host our very first AgriBiz After-Work Networking – a new platform designed to connect agribusiness committee members, development partners, and policymakers in a more informal setting.
Planning Ahead: Garment and Manufacturing Committee Priorities for 2026
On Friday, 20 February 2026, the EuroCham Garment and Manufacturing Committee held a meeting with its leaders to discuss and plan the Committee’s key priorities for the year.
One notable initiative is the introduction of financial literacy workshops led by the Committee’s Vice-Chairperson, Ms. Molika Meas from Icare Benefits. The programme aims to equip factory workers with essential financial management skills and promote smarter spending habits. The Committee also plans to share evaluation data to demonstrate the impact of these activities.
A key highlight in the Committee’s 2026 agenda will be the Textile Forum, scheduled for June. The forum is a joint initiative with EuroCham partners and counterparts including the ILO, TAFTAC, Better Factories Cambodia, and GIZ, focusing on collaborative discussions surrounding Cambodia’s textile and garment sector. Ahead of the forum, the Committee leadership also plans to organize the bi-annual brand meeting to explore key topics relevant to the industry.
The leaders reviewed and updated the Committee’s action plan to ensure it remains relevant, actionable, and aligned with the sector’s evolving needs.
