On Friday, 24 April 2026, EuroCham Cambodia, represented by Mr. Emerald Am and Ms. Mey Ching Chan, attended the launch of the report titled “Regulatory Gap Analysis of Selected Trade Agreement Chapters to Support Cambodia’s LDC Graduation and Trade Transition,” co-presided over by H.E. Dr. Sok Siphana and H.E. Mr. Dominic Williams, British Ambassador to Cambodia.
During the session, the UK Trade Policy Observatory (UKTPO) team presented key findings from its analytical report assessing Cambodia’s legal framework against the e-commerce and environment chapters of the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CP-TPP).
The report aims to support Cambodia’s transition from Least Developed Country (LDC) status, strengthen its readiness to engage in high-standard trade agreements, and identify regulatory reforms needed to align with international trade obligations.
The findings highlighted important areas for future reform, particularly in data governance and fisheries management, to enhance Cambodia’s preparedness for deeper global trade integration.
