On Tuesday, 29 September, EuroCham Real Estate & Construction Committee Vice-Chairperson Ms. Lena Jaentsch and Mr. Keaseng Lim from EuroCham’s Advocacy Team attended the joint workshop on “Revitalising Stalled Infrastructure through Commercial ADR,” co-organised by the National Commercial Arbitration Centre (NCAC) and UNDP Cambodia at Raffles Hotel Le Royal.
Ms. Jaentsch served as a panellist in the discussion on “Commercial Arbitration & Mediation for Real Estate Reactivation.” She shared her insights on how efficient negotiation and alternative dispute resolution mechanisms can resolve complex disputes, help minimise risk, and boost foreign investors’ confidence in Cambodia’s development landscape.
The workshop brought together relevant experts from the government, legal practitioners, industry professionals and stakeholders to explore how alternative dispute resolution and other supporting mechanisms can help to resolve conflicts, incentivise stalled infrastructure projects, and reactivate investment in the real estate and construction sector.
