On Wednesday, 16th July 2025, EuroCham Cambodia and the Cambodia Academy of Digital Technology (CADT) officially renewed our Memorandum of Understanding in a ceremony presided over by H.E. Mr. Chea Vandeth, Minister of Post and Telecommunications.
During the meeting, EuroCham Chairperson Mr. Gabriele Faja shared updates on EuroCham’s ongoing and upcoming initiatives, emphasising the Chamber’s core focus on advocacy and impactful collaboration with the Royal Government.
Mr. Tomas Pokorny, Chairperson of the Digital & Technology Committee, expressed appreciation to the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications (MPTC) and CADT for their efforts, particularly in the launch of the Digital Skills Development Roadmap 2024–2035. He noted this is as a key achievement in addressing EuroCham’s White Book policy recommendations regarding the ICT skills gap in Cambodia. While some recommendations remain outstanding, the Committee reaffirmed its commitment to supporting MPTC through both regulatory and technical collaboration.
The meeting also served as a platform to exchange views on the current digital and telecommunications landscape in Cambodia, with specific discussions around the Verify.gov.kh platform, the DG SuperApp, and the Digital Park initiative.
EuroCham, MPTC and the CADT reaffirmed their mutual commitment to continued cooperation and especially to create an enabling environment for European investors in Cambodia’s digital sector.
