On Tuesday, 14 October 2025, EuroCham Cambodia, in collaboration with the EuroCham Garment and Manufacturing Committee, successfully convened the 8th Environmental Garment Brands Meeting of Cambodia at EuroCham Cambodia Office.

This year’s agenda focused on the following key topics:

  1. Digitalization in the Garment Industry
  2. Circular Fashion Partnership (CFP) Cambodia
  3. Renewable Energy Certification
  4. Congestion at Sihanoukville Port

EuroCham recognizes the significant potential of Rooftop Solar (RTS) in supporting Cambodia’s green energy transition. However, current cost structures and limited incentives present challenges for companies seeking to invest in this area. To maximize the impact of renewable energy investments, it is essential that Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) gain international recognition through platforms such as I-Track, ensuring alignment with global Net Zero standards. By implementing these reforms, Cambodia will be better positioned to attract and retain European buyers with 2030 Net Zero commitments, strengthening the country’s competitiveness in the regional market.

Since its inception, the Environmental Garment Brands Meeting of Cambodia has been held eight times, serving as a valuable platform for constructive dialogue, the exchange of experiences, and the promotion of shared awareness and concerns among international brands operating within the garment sector.
