The EuroCham’s AgriBusiness Committee held its 3rd Committee meeting of the year on Friday 12th May 2023 after its successful Breakfast on Cambodia Agri-Business Perspectives. The following are the key lessons from the discussion:
A Breakfast Talk on “Funding on Sustainable Agriculture” is another event that is planned for the coming months. This event aims to provide an outlook of Cambodia’s financing options for more sustainable agriculture.
The White Book 2024: The committee members talked about the first draft of the 2024 edition of the White Book on th Agribusiness Chapter, which includes incentives for businesses supporting farmers, sustainable farming standards for Cambodia, labor law reform, and strengthened contract farming.
The AgriBusiness Committee will get together once more in July to complete the White Book Chapter that will help the Kingdom’s agriculture become more sustainable.
