On Friday, 14 August, the Techo Startup Centre hosted the Reverse Pitch Day to officially launch Reverse Innovation Program Cohort 6, bringing together startups, development partners, investment institutions, and key stakeholders from across Cambodia’s startup ecosystem.

EuroCham joined the event, with Agribusiness Committee Vice-Chairperson Mr. Chan Sereiratha contributing as an industry expert, sharing practical insights with the 14 selected startups during the pitch day’s presentations and validation sessions.

Unlike traditional accelerator programs, the Reverse Innovation Program takes a problem-first approach — identifying real-world market challenges and connecting startups with the expertise needed to develop targeted solutions. Cohort 6 focuses on five challenge areas, including smart market access and agricultural value chain integration, digital tools for business modernisation in tourism, inclusive digital finance for MSMEs, and digital InsurTech solutions. Selected startups will now enter a four-week bootcamp followed by an 11-week acceleration phase, culminating in a Forward Pitch Day.

The program is organised by the Ministry of Economy and Finance and Techo Startup Centre, co-organised with MISTI and Khmer Enterprise, with EuroCham’s Agribusiness Committee among the supporting partners.
