The EuroCham Tax Committee convened on Tuesday, 18 November 2025, to elect its new Vice-Chairperson. This year’s election reflects the Committee’s commitment to broadening participation and creating greater opportunities for members from non-tax consulting firms to contribute meaningfully to discussions on taxation issues in Cambodia. As a result of the vote, Ms. Linda Oum, Tax Manager at HEINEKEN Cambodia, was elected as the new Vice-Chairperson.
During the meeting, the Committee also outlined plans to strengthen member engagement through targeted private events, including the “Tax Talks” series. In parallel, preparations have begun for the Tax Forum 2026, the Committee’s flagship public event, held biennially. The upcoming forum, tentatively scheduled for February 2026, aims to bring together leading experts from both the public and private sectors to foster dialogue and generate impactful outcomes for Cambodia’s tax landscape.
Additionally, the Committee emphasized its intention to pursue more collaborations with the General Department of Taxation (GDT) to further enhance its role in supporting a transparent and efficient taxation environment in Cambodia. The Committee also warmly welcomed new members from non-tax consulting companies who have demonstrated strong commitment to the Committee’s mission and to advancing contributions within EuroCham.
