On Sunday 15th March 2026, the EuroCham Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) Committee formally renewed its Memorandum of Understanding with the Consumer Protection and Competition Directorate-General (CCDG), during the Workshop on Protection of Consumer Rights: Inclusive Business Practices. The event was organised by the Ministry of Commerce, with the support of GIZ and the Delegation of the European Union to Cambodia.
The workshop was presided over by H.E. Mrs. Cham Nimul, Minister of Commerce, highlighting the Royal Government’s continued commitment to strengthening consumer protection, promoting inclusive business practices, and fostering fair competition in Cambodia.
Through the renewal of this MoU, both parties reaffirmed their shared commitment to further enhancing institutional cooperation and public–private dialogue. The partnership will facilitate the exchange of technical expertise, the sharing of best practices, and joint contributions to the development and improvement of relevant regulatory frameworks, guidelines, and instruments.
