The EuroCham Green Business Committee gathered on Tuesday, 12 May, to review recent activities, identify upcoming priorities, and explore key developments in its agenda.

At the start of the meeting, Mr. Mark Selby, Chairperson of the Green Business Committee, extended his appreciation for the successful delivery of two green talks: Organic Food Waste Collection & Recycling Service and Electrifying Commercial Fleets in Cambodia.

Looking ahead, the Committee outlined a series of upcoming initiatives, including discussions on Sustainable Taxonomy, sustainable packaging solutions, and sustainable waste management and circular economy practices. These will continue to serve as key platforms for knowledge sharing and private sector engagement.

Progress on Renewable Energy Certificates (REC) in Cambodia, a key focus of the Committee, was also discussed. Through ongoing technical dialogue with the Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME), EuroCham continues to promote the development of a transparent and internationally aligned REC framework to align supply chains with global business standards and requirements.
