The GreenBiz Committee’s chairman, Dr. Sajith Edirisooriya, expressed his joy during the committee’s second meeting of the year on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, to discuss on its two biggest initiatives of the year:
The White Book 2023: the Green Biz Chapter will cover notable topics on the finalization of the environmental natural resources code, implementation of energy efficiency labelling scheme, the introduction of the EPR Scheme and financing of the Green Economy.
The “GreenBiz Forum 2023” will be held on June 9, 2023 intended to increase public knowledge of energy conservation and renewable energy sources. This goal is to identify and share instances of the green supply chain, responsible business practices, and practical finance solutions in the Kingdom. It will go into further depth on the action plans to encourage economic growth while protecting the environment for future generations.
The focus of the forum will be the leader’s discussion, which aims to bring together the executives of the largest corporations in Cambodia to exchange best practices for enhancing a more sustainable business.
