Duration: 1 hour

The Green Business Committee convened on Wednesday, 1 October 2025, to define its strategic priorities for 2025 and 2026. The key focus areas identified include: Rooftop Solar, Renewable Energy Certificates, the Cambodia Sustainable Finance Taxonomy, and Circular Economy and Waste Management. Among these, Rooftop Solar and Renewable Energy Certificates were highlighted as priority topics due to the ongoing implementation challenges faced by businesses.

The committee also explored opportunities for cross-committee collaboration, particularly with the Garment and Manufacturing Committee. This may involve the formation of informal joint working groups to address shared concerns, including regulations on textile products, circularity, waste management, and green energy.

Looking ahead, the committee plans to increase member engagement through both closed-door and public events. Two new initiatives are being developed:

  1. Monthly Green Talks – A small-group format where members can exchange best practices on various green business topics.
  2. Green Finance Breakfast Talks – Sessions aimed at integrating green finance into broader sustainable business practices.

Additionally, the committee intends to relaunch the Green Business Forum, tentatively scheduled for early next year.
