On Tuesday, July 25, the EuroCham Healthcare Committee met for the fourth time in person and online via MS Team. Dr. Vireak Chea, the co-chairman and e-health sector representative, gave a summary of the committee’s previous activities and the rest of the plan for the second half of 2023. The following things were discussed:
White Book 2023 Edition: The team are now working on finalizing the second draft of the White Book. The Health Care Chapter will have 9 recommendations. The EuroCham advocacy flagship White Book 2023 Edition will be published in the upcoming ‘ASEAN-Cambodia Summit’ on 28th& 29th of September 2023.
Breakfast Talk on the Healthcare Industry: On Tuesday, October 3, EuroCham Cambodia’s Healthcare Committee will host a Breakfast Talk on the Healthcare industry. This breakfast meeting intends to bring together the major actors in the healthcare business to identify the causes of medical tourism to other countries and how to restore the public’s faith in local healthcare.
Blood Drive: Our committee plans on reuniting about 100 donors at the first-ever blood drive, which will be held in the fourth quarter of the year.
