On Wednesday, 6 May, the leadership of the EuroCham Transport & Logistics Committee attended the dissemination workshop on “The New Logistics Performance Index (LPI 2.0) and World Bank Calculation,” chaired by H.E. Mr. Sun Chanthol, Deputy Prime Minister and First Vice-Chair of the Council for the Development of Cambodia.
This session featured presentations covering the New Logistics Performance Indicators and Calculation Methodology (LPI 2.0), the Logistics Dashboard, and the National Logistics Information Centre, presented by representatives from the World Bank.
The workshop aimed to enhance the understanding of representatives from relevant ministries, institutions, transport associations, and the private sector regarding the World Bank’s updated assessment methodology. The new approach shifts from perception-based surveys to a data-driven system that uses Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the logistics performance and efficiency of each country, with the aim of developing strategies that deliver tangible results in this key economic sector.
