On Tuesday, 9 June, EuroCham’s Real Estate & Construction Committee hosted the Industrial Parks & Special Economic Zones Forum 2026 at Novotel Phnom Penh BKK1, bringing together government officials, investors, developers, logistics operators, and construction specialists for an afternoon of market intelligence, policy updates, and strategic dialogue on Cambodia’s industrial real estate sector.
Highlights included a market overview from MISTI confirming more than 3,000 operating factories and over 1.3 million workers across Cambodia’s industrial base, alongside pricing data from Advantage Property Services showing Cambodia’s ready-built factory rental rates remain significantly below regional competitors.
Panel discussions chaired by Managing Director of Advantage Property Services Ms. Kim Kinkesa and Real Estate & Construction Vice-Chairperson Mr. Ross Wheble covered strategic opportunities across Cambodia’s SEZ and industrial park network, practical lessons from international park development, and the full lifecycle of industrial park delivery from financing through to occupancy.
A recurring theme was the urgency of Cambodia’s transition to higher-value industries ahead of LDC graduation in 2029 and the need to build a more coordinated, resilient, and competitive industrial ecosystem.
