On 15 September, the EuroCham Transport & Logistics Committee, led by the Chairman Mr. Bunthan Suy, conducted a meeting to discuss the Transport & Logistics-related topics contained in the 2024 White Book, before its official launch at the upcoming ASEAN-Cambodia Business Summit, on the 28th and 29th September 2023.
The Committee members raised the issue of a complicated customs procedure system in Cambodia and will organize an event on this matter in November “From Paper to Pixels: Transforming Customs Procedures through Digitalisation”. They also looked at the potential for more regional collaboration on this matter.
The 2024 White Book T&L Chapter will include recommendations on customs issues for the newly elected Cambodian government. The advocacy department will also release the Live Advocacy Compass during the ASEAN-Cambodia Business Summit in support of its mission to transparently showcase its dialogue with the Royal Government of Cambodia.
