On Friday, 4 July, EuroCham’s Transport & Logistics Committee convened to address key developments affecting Cambodia’s trade and logistics environment.
Key updates from the meeting:
🔹 The Committee is closely tracking border tensions that have triggered a notable shift in freight from land to air and sea routes.
🔹 Members unanimously elected Mr. Kaushal Rohilla, Country Director of CMA-CGM, as the new Vice-Chairman.

🔹 The Ministry of Economy and Finance will pilot an increase in the threshold for Category 3 goods to USD 2,000—a move aimed at streamlining customs clearance.
🔹 Members discussed ongoing issues regarding PAS (Sihanoukville Autonomous Port) and are finalising formal recommendations to improve port operations, following recent dialogue with the port authority.
Through continued monitoring and proactive engagement, the committee remains focused on strengthening Cambodia’s logistics infrastructure and trade facilitation.
