EuroCham Cambodia, in collaboration with the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) and the EU Delegation to Cambodia, held the 3rd Cambodia–Europe Public–Private Sector Dialogue (PPSD) on 22 October at CDC headquarters.
The event gathered senior officials, European ambassadors, and business leaders to advance reforms in infrastructure, logistics, taxation, energy, and the green economy.
Opening remarks from Deputy Prime Minister H.E. Sun Chanthol, EuroCham Chairperson Mr. Gabriele Faja, and EU DelegationAmbassador Igor Driesmans reaffirmed the shared commitment to building a more competitive and sustainable investment environment.
EuroCham presented key proposals to:
- Map priority infrastructure projects and clarify PPP procedures.
- Launch a joint initiative to reduce red tape.
- Improve logistics performance through 24/7 customs operations and digitalisation.
- Incentivise textile recycling and streamline EIA processes.
- Harmonise definitions of “new vehicles” and strengthen cooperation on tax predictability.
The session closed with renewed focus on renewable energy policy, including rooftop solar and Renewable Energy Certificates, to support companies’ Net Zero goals. The dialogue reinforced strong EU–Cambodia cooperation ahead of the next round in 2026.
