On Thursday, 19 October 2023, the EuroCham Digital & Technology Committee held its 3rd committee meeting to discuss the following topics:
The Digital & Technology Committee has devoted a pillar to financial services since last year. To address banking-related concerns, namely those pertaining to non-performing loans, liquidity shortages, solvability ratio increases, and provisioning practices, a sub-committee will be further established.
Regarding the recommendation in the White Book on establishing a legal framework for Data Privacy in Cambodia, EuroCham was granted the opportunity to provide input on the Personal Data Protection Law and will share its findings with the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications.
