Healthcare Committee Reviews Progress and Sets Advocacy Priorities for 2026

The EuroCham Healthcare Committee met on 19 March to review progress, discuss advocacy priorities, and plan activities for the year ahead. The meeting provided members with an overview of the committee’s ongoing engagement with key healthcare stakeholders, as well as recent publications and advocacy efforts in Cambodia’s evolving healthcare sector.
The meeting included an update on the draft Pharmaceutical Law, currently under review by the Ministry of Health. Committee Co‑Chairperson Ms. Solina Yean outlined key elements of the draft, including provisions on product management and quality control. Members also discussed preparations for PPSD 4, with advocacy efforts focused on two core issues: reducing regulatory redundancy in medicines approval and addressing cumulative licensing fees that may restrict market entry and limit access to essential medicines.
Looking ahead, the Healthcare Committee confirmed that its next Breakfast Talk, Financing Digital Health: Building the Financing Stack for Digital Care, will take place on27 May.
