It is a great honour to have been elected Chairman of EuroCham Cambodia’s Garment & Manufacturing Committee. I am sincerely grateful to the Committee members for their trust and would also like to acknowledge the valuable leadership and contribution of the outgoing Chairman, Emeral Am.

Having worked closely with the Committee and Cambodia’s garment, footwear and travel goods sector over the past years, I have had the privilege of engaging with many of the people who make this industry so important to Cambodia — manufacturers, international brands, industry associations, development partners and government institutions.

As Chairman, my priority will be to listen to our members and ensure that the Committee remains a practical and constructive platform for dialogue, advocacy and cooperation. Cambodia’s manufacturing sector is entering an important period of transition, shaped by changing global trade conditions, sustainability and due diligence requirements, energy and decarbonisation challenges, digitalisation, skills development and Cambodia’s graduation from LDC status.

I believe EuroCham can make an important contribution by bringing the private sector together, strengthening dialogue with the Royal Government and our partners, and helping position Cambodia as a competitive, responsible and increasingly high-value manufacturing destination.

I look forward to working closely with all Committee members and partners. The strength of this Committee will come from the participation, experience and ideas of its members, and I warmly encourage everyone to contribute actively to our work.
